What Does AED Training Cover?
AED training focuses on the safe and effective use of an automated external
defibrillator during cardiac emergencies. You learn how defibrillation
supports the heart’s rhythm and how early action improves survival outcomes.
The course covers both theory and hands-on practice. You learn how to assess
a casualty, respond to sudden cardiac arrest, and deliver first aid while
coordinating with emergency services.
Training follows current Resuscitation Council UK guidance and reflects
Health and Safety Executive expectations for workplace first aid provision.
